We listened to you …. and we are improving patient care
At The Cottage, we carried out a patient survey (Practice Accreditation and Improvement Survey) and asked your honest opinions on the service we provide. We listened to your feedback – both good and also any concerns, and we have taken the following actions in order to make improvements to patient care.
98 % of all patient ratings were good, very good or excellent
93% of patients had confidence in our abilities

| 1. Waiting times can be long | – We endeavour to run on time, but occasionally need to take longer with patients with complex problems or to fit in sick patients.
– We have allowed on the day appointments so as to be able to fit in urgent appointments. – We encourage patients to book longer appointments if there are more issues to address. – We are looking to expand our practice and recruit another doctor and nurse to help with the workload. |
| 2. Modernising reception & doctors rooms | We have contracted a handyperson to repaint some of the worn surfaces and have built a brand new extension across King Street at The Corner Clinic. |
