COVID and appointments
Patients can make telehealth or face to face appointments with your doctor by booking by phone. Face to face appointments can also be made by booking online. Patients are required to wear a mask for appointments and sanitize hands before entering the building. Surfaces are wiped down by the doctors between patients. To protect the safety of patients and staff please advise when making a booking if you
- have any respiratory symptoms (eg cough, cold, sore throat, fever),
- have diarrhoea
- have had close contact with a person with COVID,
- have been to any current COVID hotspots , or
- are awaiting a COVID test result
If you have answered yes to any of the above, we will see you in the outdoor clinic at the rear of The Cottage Surgery at 347 Condamine Street. Evidence is that the virus is less likely to spread outdoors compared to being in an enclosed room. Please bring your facemask and appropriate clothing for the weather. Chairs and surfaces are cleaned between each patient.
Cottage Surgery, 347 Condamine Street – please ring the doorbell at the rear entrance and wait for instructions.
Corner Clinic, 341-343 Condamine Street – enter at front door, sanitize hands and present to reception. You may be directed to wait on the outdoor bench under cover if needed.
