We listened to you …. and we are improving patient care
At The Cottage, we carried out a patient survey (Practice Accreditation and Improvement Survey) and asked your honest opinions on the services that are provided by both the doctors and the practice. We listened to your feedback – both good and also any concerns, and we have taken the following actions in order to make improvements to patient care.
98 % of all patient ratings were good, very good or excellent
93% of patients had confidence in the abilities of the doctors
93 % of patients were overall satisfied with the practice

1. Waiting times can be long | – Doctors endeavour to run on time, but occasionally need to take longer with patients with complex problems or to fit in sick patients. – Doctors have allowed on the day appointments so as to be able to fit in urgent appointments. – Doctors encourage patients to book longer appointments if there are more issues to address. |
2. Modernizing reception & doctors rooms | The Cottage site has been repainted and a new extension has been build across King Street at The Corner Clinic. |
3. Play wall for children | Excellent idea and we have arranged to have this installed. Unfortunately no longer in use because of COVID. |
