Kiril grew up in the UK and graduated with Honours from Sydney University. He has worked as a GP in Manly Vale for over 15 years. He enjoys all aspects of general practice but has particular interest in chronic disease management, type 2 diabetes and adolescent health. He is a supervisor and mentor for GP registrars. On Thursdays he has a medical student working with him. Outside of work, he enjoys bushwalking, baking and the beach.

Rob graduated from The University of Sydney in 2016 and has worked in multiple hospitals in metropolitan, regional and rural settings. He has previously worked in critical care doing training in Intensive Care medicine as well as in Accident and Emergency. Rob is interested in men’s health, chronic disease and preventative care. He also provides iron infusions. Rob enjoys early morning runs, ocean swims, and watching local rugby outside of work.

Dr Karen Oswald has joined The Cottage Surgery. She has much experience and has worked in Manly for several years. She is interested in healthy ageing, provides aclasta and iron infusions and is experienced in both Aviation and Dive medicals. Dr Oswald is an authorized medicinal cannabis prescriber.

Gary graduated from Sydney University and has worked over 30 years at The Cottage Surgery.

Gary works Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Fridays at The Cottage Surgery.

Catriona graduated from the University of Adelaide in 1995, and completed her general practice training in 2000. Prior to settling on the Northern Beaches, she worked as a GP in Adelaide and the Eastern Suburbs. She enjoys all aspects of general practice, but has a particular interest in women’s and children’s health, and is accredited to provide shared antenatal care. She has three young boys and when not at work, she enjoys an active and energetic family life.

Esmarie has a diverse medical background with a focus on women’s health (including menopause treatment, pregnancy,
fertility and sexual health), children’s health, and procedural work such as Implanon insertion, IUD removals, abscess
and basic skin excisions and wedge resections. Her journey includes working in the challenging environment of ICU and Emergency medicine, and working in a third-world hospital system gaining invaluable experience and exposure to trauma. She loves sports and enjoys the outdoors, making the most of her free time with her little family on the Northern Beaches. Esmarie’s dedication to her patients and her broad range of experiences make her a well-rounded and empathic healthcare provider.

Benjamin graduated from the University of Queensland. He started general practice in the rural NSW town of Oberon. Prior to this, Ben spent 3 years working at Ipswich Hospital in Queensland as a resident medical officer. He enjoys all areas of general practice, with special interests in paediatrics, mental health, travel medicine, preventative health, venesections and iron infusions. Ben loves rugby in his spare time, travelling and exploring the Northern Beaches with his wife and pet jack russell. Ben works Mondays from The Cottage, Wednesdays and Thursdays from The Corner Clinic.

Rochelle (she/her) graduated from Notre Dame School of Medicine (Fremantle) and has worked at multiple hospitals across Australia as both a doctor and a physiotherapist including Northern Beaches, Sir Charles Gairdner, Royal Perth Hospital, Prince of Wales and North Shore Private. She is currently working towards her Fellowship in General Practice and has a particular passion for women’s health, paediatrics and preventative medicine. When not at work, she enjoys an active lifestyle on the Northern Beaches and spending time with family and her children. She works at The Cottage on Wednesdays and Fridays.

Hannah brings over 11 years of nursing experience to her role. She graduated as a Registered Nurse from the University of Technology Sydney in 2012. Throughout her career, Hannah has gained extensive experience in various hospital settings, including Emergency, Operating Theatres, Stroke and Medical wards, and Rehabilitation. In March 2024, she transitioned to General Practice nursing, where she currently works on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. Outside of her professional commitments, Hannah enjoys spending quality time with her husband and their four children, as well as playing soccer.

Nancy has been a Registered Nurse for over 17 yrs, working in General surgical and Ophthalmology, Orthopaedics and Community Nursing and she is a qualified Nurse Immunizer through the College of Nursing. Nancy grew up in the St.George area and moved to the Northern Beaches after she got married and has 4 children and they enjoy going to the beach and watching movies together.

Nicole graduated in 2021 after studying nursing at the University of Sydney. Nicole has experience in working in Mental Health, Drug & Alcohol and giving COVID vaccinations at Qudos Bank Arena Hub. Nicole has done placements across Sydney and rural NSW. Nicole has a special interest in Child & Adolescent Mental Health, rare diseases and wound care. Nicole grew up in Western Sydney and in her spare time enjoys looking after her indoor plants, swimming and Olympic weightlifting. Nicole works Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday
